Say Something Week was held at
West Essex Middle School March 2-6th
to help empower young people to Say Something and save lives.  Say Something Week is a national program developed by the Sandy Hook Promise organization and SAVE Promise club that raises awareness and educates students.  Say Something Week reinforces the power young people have to prevent tragedies and protect a friend from hurting themselves or others.

As part of the activities for Say Something Week students will be encouraged to:
Complete the statement: "I will say something because..." on notecards during their lunch studies, Join the SAVE Promise club, and write down the name of a trusted adult that they could "say something" to on banners hung in the lunchroom.
