NHS Peer Tutoring

WE High School’s National Honor Society (NHS) is offering a Virtual Peer Tutoring program to middle school students during lunch or after school.  Students are required to sign-up in advance.  To schedule a tutoring appointment, please complete the NHS MS Tutoring Google Form.  Once the session is scheduled, students will receive a confirmation email with the Zoom link.  Please contact Ms. Colabelli with questions. In addition to the NHS Tutoring program, students may also meet with their classroom teachers or counselors for extra support.

Office Hours

Teachers and counselors will provide office hours every Tuesday and Thursday afternoon from 2:15-3:00 p.m.  During office hours, our faculty will be accessible via their Zoom classroom and an appointment, although encouraged, is not required.  If the office hour time is not convenient, students should email their teacher or counselor and schedule an appointment during normal school hours (7:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.).

Tutorial Sessions

Tutorials provide academic, social, and emotional support to our middle school students.  While office hours are intended for students to work directly with their teacher(s), tutorial sessions allow students to communicate with any member of our faculty.  This approach also allows students to attend extra help with friends who are assigned different classroom teachers.

Each department will have their own Zoom link and at least one representative from each department will be accessible on each of the tutorial days.  For academics, the goal of tutorial is to reinforce concepts and answer questions that are directly related to the curriculum. Our library tutorial, however, is a bit more generic and will provide technology support as well as a quiet place to study with occasional redirection and guidance from our faculty.

Tutorials will occur every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 1:30-2:15 p.m.  Students do not need an appointment and may arrive at any point during the allotted time.  Our tutorial links are outlined below:
