Mrs. Seton Ahearn graduated from the College of New Rochelle with a degree in Speech Pathology, and certifications in Elementary and Special Education.  Mrs. Ahearn began her career at Marlboro High School,  and in 1995 she joined West Essex Middle School as a Special Education teacher.  In fact, she spearheaded our Language Learning Disabilities program.  After 33 years in education, Mrs. Ahearn’s compassion and enthusiasm for teaching middle school remain unmatched.

Mrs. Denise Logan began her nursing career in the NICU and PICU units at The Children’s Hospital in Newark and St. Joseph’s Hospital in Paterson.  After 21 years in the hospital setting, Mrs. Logan earned her School Nursing Certification from Caldwell College.  Her 23 years of school nursing experience include working at Grover Cleveland Middle School and Lazar Middle School, before finding a permanent home here at West Essex Middle School.  Throughout the covid-19 pandemic, Mrs. Logan has modeled resilience and offered guidance to the entire West Essex community.
