West Essex Buddy Day Celebrates Music and Mentorship

On Tuesday, January 6, the West Essex Arts Department welcomed students from our sending districts - Essex Fells, Fairfield, North Caldwell, and Roseland - for another exciting Buddy Day experience. Elementary band, choir, and orchestra students were paired with Middle School musicians, giving them a firsthand look at what it’s like to be part of the West Essex music program. Throughout the day, students rehearsed together, shared insights, and built connections through music. The event wrapped up with a combined band, choir, and orchestra performance, showcasing the talents of both elementary and middle school musicians.
