Join us on Sunday, November 23rd at 3 p.m. for a special event by D'Italia Programs entitled Sicilia Bedda - Beautiful Sicily! This wonderful Italian Heritage event will feature the Coro d'Italia, an Italian American singing and dancing ensemble, as well as students of West Essex High School. Mark your calendar for this exciting performance of Italian culture.

The nationally acclaimed West Essex High School Field Hockey Team won their 14th straight Essex County Tournament against Montclair Kimberly Academy this past Saturday! The team, led by renowned head coach Jill Cosse, is currently ranked as the #6 team in the nation, and their schedule certainly shows it as they play 8 of the top 25 teams in the country.

The month of October has been nothing short of exciting for our Middle School students with exciting events focused on collaboration.

Middle School students enjoyed some delicious cookies on Tuesday, October 21st thanks to our local law enforcement! Officers from the sending district police departments made their way through the halls during the lunch block to share a smile and a cookie with our students.

Students in Mrs. Rizzo’s Middle School Choir had the opportunity to visit Montclair State University on Tuesday, October 7th, and take part in real college music classes! Under the guidance of Dr. Whitney Covalle, soon-to-be music educators from her Choral Methods class each spent 5 - 10 minutes leading a vocal warm-up or teaching a section of a song to the visiting middle schoolers.
